NordicTrack C2255 Treadmill at Sears

in Nordictrack, Treadmills

Question

I didn’t see the Nordictrack C2255 Treadmill reviewed on your website or blog and I am thinking of purchasing this model. Can you give me feedback on it. I will be running on this treadmill. Thank you.

Answer

NordicTrack C2255 Treadmill just say no to Sears treadmills.

As I’ve stated before, I’m not a huge fan of the sub $1000 dollar Nordicktrack treadmills (or any treadmills under $1500 for that matter, there are exceptions).

It’s true that they are nicely designed on the outside with sleek lines and handsome consoles, but when you strip away the glitz and glam and get into the meat of what makes a good quality treadmill, the Nordicktrack C2255 falls short on power, warranty and cheap parts that are destined to breakdown.

To see what treadmills I recommend in theis price range, see my best treadmill picks for each price range.

Please be advised that all treadmills in the under $1500 price range are not designed for major daily punishment from large heavy users.

If you’re over 130 pounds and plan on running on a machine like this 3-4 times per week, be ready to have repairs done frequently. And once the short warranty runs out, good luck finding someone to fix it for you (unless you want to pay through the nose for the privilige).
