Stamina Air ATS Rowing Machine

Stamina offers four levels of rowing machines from bare bone hydraulic rower up to the EMR Conversion II Recumbent Bike/Rower.

The best of the bunch of the Stamina rowing machines (for the money) is the Stamina Air ATS rower that comes in at the budget, or cheap end of rowing machines on the market.

The Air ATS is a decent rowing machine, but no quite up to par with some others like the Bodycraft vr100 and it’s a huge step backward from rowers like the Kettler Coach rowing machine…

Stamina Air ATS Rowing Machine Key Features and Benefits

monitor tracks and displays distance, speed, time, calories burned, number of strokes, and strokes per minute
air resistance increases work load as stroke rate increases
folds for easy storage
Some of the pluses of the ATS are the folding feature which allows you to free up additional floor space when you’re not using it, and the monitor that tracks distance, speed, calories and other rudimentary functions.

The appeal of the Stamina Air ATS is the low price tag, but that low price comes with questionable reliability of the chain drive and electronic console which could easily scare away more serious rowers who will use the machine on a daily basis.

If I were in the market for a cheap rowing machine, I would skip getting the Stamina Air ATS, and get the Bodycraft vr100
