Healthrider s300i Treadmill
The Healthrider s300i treadmill is yet another of the off brand treadmills sold by Icon Fitness. This model can usually be found in large wholesale chains such as Costco and Sam's Club.
The s300i appears to be a good deal on the surface, but digging a little deeper into the actual nuts and bolts of this treadmill reveals many flaws.
For starters, the motor on this treadmill is not all it's cracked up to be. I don't care what the specs say, this machine is under powered and only suitable for small, light, users for walking only.
There are also reliability questions with the s300i. Like most budget treadmills you get what you pay for, this machine is no different.
When the time comes to replace the motor or belt (it will come sooner, rather than later) get ready for a nasty surprise.
Here's a prime example of what I'm talking about below, this poor gentleman bought a Healthrider s300i and needed to repair it after 18 months. Here's what he had to say...
"The Healthrider s300i had developed NUMEROUS squeaks and rattles, and the walking belt was shot with a new belt running $360 plus installation - OUCH!!!"
Avoid the Healthrider s300i treadmill. There are better treadmill deals on the market in this price range.
