True 400 Treadmill
The True 400 treadmill isn't currently manufactured by True fitness as of this writing.
The 400 was True's attempt to enter the market at a lower price point than their high end machines that typically sell for $3000 - 5000 dollars.
When new, the True 400 treadmill retailed for around $2000, and even with that smaller price was a bit overpriced and not much of a bargain.
The biggest weakness of the True 400 is, in an effort to save money on manufacturing, True went over seas with this model and the expected quality of this treadmill is not up to True standards.
Key features of the True 400 treadmill:
If you can get a True 400 cheap on the used market and can't spring for a new treadmill the 400 is worth a quick look, but not a second one.
There are too many good treadmills in this price range with more features and better motors to get too hung up on the True 400 treadmill, see what treadmills I recommend in this price range for a head to head comparison.
