True 540 CI Treadmill
The 540 CI treadmill by True is no longer manufactured, but that doesn't seem to matter to those who are searching the secondary treadmill market for a good used treadmill.
The True 540 CI was sold through True dealers and was a popular machine even with its' hefty multi-thousand price tag.
Part of the reason for the True 540's success was due to the fact that there weren't as many good competing treadmills on the market when the 540 came out.
Now, you can get a treadmill like the Smooth 9.25 or Sole F85 that will compete with a machine like the 540 on a level playing field and cost you thousands less.
Key features of the True 540 CI treadmill:
If you can find a True 540 CI on the used market for under $1000 and
it hasn't been used too hard it's worth a look. If not, check out my recommended
treadmills in this price range for better options.
